Bryan arrived at El Shaddai as an infant. Shortly after, he was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, preventing him from every having the ability to walk. As an infant, it wasn't much trouble to carry him wherever he needed to go, but as he grew, getting him out and about became more difficult. Not having the money for a wheelchair, he spent most of his days propped in a chair or lying on the carpet. Yet, Bryan always has a smile.
We are so thankful to have had a wheelchair donated to Compassionate Life for Bryan, and our 2018 team was able to take it with them to El Shaddai.
What a difference a seemingly small act of kindness can make in someone's life. The joy on Bryan's face tells the story and I don't know that there is much else that needs to be said.
The wheelchair was donated by a couple who have adopted over fourteen special needs children. The chair belonged to one of their children who, sadly, passed away. The couple wanted to give the chair to someone who was truly in need of it. We are so sorry for their loss, and so very grateful for their generosity. #eSwatini, #Swaziland, #CerebralPalsy
