Here we go again!

We are very excited to be leaving soon for eSwatini! Kassidi Adams, Coetta Adams, and Cynthia will be headed out on June 23rd. Rachel Tisdale will be joining us the last week. We will all be returning on a flight leaving July 13th.

While we are at El Shaddai, we will be helping with demolition of a condemned dorm. We may be a little stronger when we come back! We are preparing for some exciting changes at El Shaddai. New housing is necessary and we are working on plans to have more family like dwellings. Stay tuned as we develop our plans. This will require not only planning, but also funds. Let us know if you would like to help with our building fund.

We have lots of plans coming together for our weeks there. We will be spending time with the Aunties and staff during their daily devotion time. We will be helping the children with homework and joining them during chapel. We will be getting their letters and pictures ready for all the sponsors. (Be sure to get YOUR letter mailed!)

We are also planning on meeting with 2 other organizations. As we continue working in eSwatini, we are excited to be meeting with teams on the ground and learning about their organization and impact and how we can be more effective together!

We will also be visiting another church. The current pastor is a primary school teacher, going to college on the weekend, and pastoring 2 churches (along with wrangling 2 toddlers!). He would love to jump in full time as a pastor. If you are interested in helping with his leap of faith, please message us at infojames127@gmail.com.

We are often asked what other can do to help. First and foremost, pray. We will be sharing specific requests during our trip. We try to purchase all we can in the country to help their economy. Small things we can take are toothbrushes and toothpaste, washcloths, and children's vitamins. What is needed most is monetary donations.

We are working hard with our partners and management at El Shaddai to work toward more self sustaining projects. Taking care of children is costly, as we know. All donations to Compassionate Life go towards the children and their care.

We will do our best to update you when we are in country. Wifi is always spotty, so updates are often few. Please like our Facebook page as all updates will also be there. It is often times easier for us to get signal and data to update Facebook.

Check back soon for more updates!
